First Annual Lake Clean-Up!

So the lake area was in need of a good cleaning-up, especially around the swamp area where for the last 50 years or so has been peoples dump for old appliances, tires, and anything and everything else you can image. Last weekend, the men gathers all the proper equipment for a job like this, and with about 40 volunteers, by the days end its a whole new place. The animals are happier and our good deed for the summer is done!




Men in waders were pulling all sorts of trash out of the water including cans, bottles, tires, etc.







Kids of all ages were there to help out..

Yes, these were all pulled for the water in the swamp..

Big bon fire...the best way to celebrate the end of a long day of work on a holiday!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!!!
Here's a little something that I did for my mom's daycare parents!

Food, Dress-Up and more food!

The first two photos were from Kaitlyn's 2nd birthday:

The next two are Dylan, he was dressing-up and I was trying to get some good ones for his 18 month photos...I got lots of funny and goofy ones!

And last but certainly not least, Jack! The crazy boy! In these photos he is doing what he likes best...EATING!!!

Cats and Kids...

So since being back in Minnesota, I feel like this is my life....all the kids and of course all the cats!

Top to bottom: Dylan, Pooh (my mom's cat), my mom reading to the daycare kids before nap time, Kaitlyn, and last but not least, the ever present supply of sippy cups...

p.s. if you did not already know or pick up on the fact that my mom has a daycare in our house...well now you know!
